Team Member Spotlight

Jason Sulisufay is the Firm Administrator at Suli Law Group. He is not an attorney and does not practice law. His job is everything around the legal work: the operations, systems, marketing, and team that let the firm’s attorneys focus on their clients. If your calls get answered, your questions get real responses, and your case keeps moving, that is Jason’s work behind the scenes. 

His path to running a law firm was not the usual one. Jason spent years running his family’s restaurant, where he learned the things no business class teaches: how to take care of people under pressure, how to build systems that hold up on the busiest night, and how to earn trust one interaction at a time. He then became a public adjuster, leading a team that helped Florida homeowners recover more than $10 million a year in insurance claim proceeds. He knows firsthand how insurance companies value, negotiate, and resolve claims, from the policyholder’s side of the table. 

The firm was founded in 2023 by managing attorney Laura T. Sulisufay, who spent years defending insurance carriers before opening her own doors, and who is also Jason’s wife. Between her insurance defense background and his public adjusting background, the firm sees the insurance industry from both inside angles. 

Away from the office, Jason is a devoted husband and a proud girl dad to his and Laura’s three daughters, Jasmine, Lily, and Ivy. When Suli Law Group says it treats clients like family, it is describing the people who actually run it. Jason is also a licensed Florida real estate professional and investor and an active member of the Tampa Bay business community. At his core, he is a builder and a connector, and that is how he shows up for the firm, its clients, and the community it serves.
