Team Member Spotlight

Michele Strano is a personal injury litigation paralegal at Suli Law Group, working alongside managing attorney Laura Sulisufay. With six years of paralegal experience, she handles discovery, case preparation, document organization, and deadline coordination as cases move toward settlement or trial. Ask Michele her favorite part of the job, though, and she won’t name any of that. It’s the clients. To her, a case is more than checking items off a to-do list. She wants every client to feel their case is being handled with care and attention, and she works to make the process as smooth and stress-free as possible while supporting the attorneys who fight for them.

Michele’s path to legal work explains a lot about how she operates. Before entering the legal field, she worked in the Records Department of the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, where precision with documents is not optional, and owned and operated her own commercial landscaping company, where the deadlines, the clients, and the results were all hers. Detail and ownership are exactly what you want from the person managing your case file.

Originally from Miami, Michele has called the Tampa Bay area home since 2004. Outside the office, she loves traveling and experiencing new places with her fiancé, and if there is water nearby, that is where you will find her. She is a member of a Gasparilla Krewe that raises money for charitable causes, cheers on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Lightning, and makes a point of saying yes to new experiences whenever she can.

Fun fact: Michele was living in Berlin in 1989 and climbed on top of the Berlin Wall the night it came down. A once-in-a-lifetime experience she will never forget.
